Mikey Heller is an Emmy-nominated writer and cartoonist living in Los Angeles. He was the head writer/head of story of Cartoon Network’s We Bare Bears, We Bare Bears: The Movie, and the spin-off, We Baby Bears. He’s also written for Warner Bros Animation, Nickelodeon and worked as story editor for projects at Sony Pictures Animation and Bidaya Media. He’s currently the EP of a project in development at Wattpad Webtoon Studios. He’s had his catalytic converter stolen three times.

This guy also draws comics! He’s been drawing the gag webcomic Time Trabble since 2010. He also created the series Bagel High, comics about teen bagels in 2006, which was nominated for a Ringo Award in 2021.

Hm what else… Oh yeah, Mikey hosts the bi-monthly live comics reading series, Comics O’Clock, at Heavy Manners Library in Echo Park. He also co-organizes the annual Heavy Manners Comics Fair. Dang this guy is busy!
