Mikey Heller is an Emmy and Annie Award-nominated writer and cartoonist. He was the head writer of Cartoon Network’s We Bears Bears, as well as the We Bare Bears movie and spin-off series. He’s also the creator of the Adult Swim Smalls series, Soup Frogs.

Mikey has worked on projects at Warner Bros. Animation, Sony Pictures Animation, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Bidaya Media, and Wattpad Webtoon Studios.

Mikey’s a lifelong cartoonist. He’s drawn the ongoing gag webcomic Time Trabble since 2010 and the Ringo Award-nominated webcomic Bagel High since 2020. He’s also the host of Comics O’Clock, a monthly live comics reading show at Heavy Manners Library in Echo Park.

Mikey writes character-driven comedy that revels in being both clever and dumb simultaneously. All while still leaving room for heart.

He’s had his catalytic converter stolen three times.
